Lauren Buonadonna,
Practice Manager
Lauren lives in Shepherdsville with family where she raises Affenpinchers
and Lakeland Terriers. She is certified in artificial insemination in Cattle, and
breeds and raises Semmintal cattle. In her spare time she competes in Barrel
racing Competition on her Quarter Horses. Lauren has 3 barn cats and chickens,
ducks, and peacocks. Additionally in her free time she enjoys 4-wheeling
on her farm with her family. Lauren has been with the clinic since March
of 2002.
Front Desk Staff - Reception
Lindsay Simmons:
Lindsay has been with us since September 2004, and has 2 dogs, 3 rats, six cats and
1 husband!. She says "I have always loved animals, and enjoy working
around them". Lindsay is a graduate of University of Kentucky with a B.S. degree
in forestry.
LaCrecia D.: LaCrecia joined Stonefield in April of 2005. She has one
son. Loves Chow-chows and really enjoys her work.
Veterinary Technician Staff
Sherri Bishop:
Vet Tech for 15 years, and with Stonefield since August of 1997. She also has worked for the Zoo
and their exotic animals. Sherri currently has many different pets and is in
charge of Stonefield pet adoptions. In Sherri's free time she provides
pet-sitting services for dogs, cats and exotics.
Beau Philpot:
Beau has been with VAS since March of 2001. Beau has 13 years experience as a Vet Tech.
Beau enjoys paintball, and is a member of Kentuckiana Bulldog Club. Beau
is a recognized breeder of English Bull Dogs. Beau, like all our staff is
an animal lover and has four Bull Dogs, three cats and a Cockatoo named Q-Tip.
In Beau's spare time he provides Pet Sitting Services through his TLC Pet
Sitting business.
Laticia
"Tish" Johnson: Tish has been in veterinary medicine for eight years,
and with Stonefield since March of 2003. She has two white German Shepherds, and a Ball
Python. she has attended Murray State University and U of L. Tish has
worked at the Zoo, in addition to her clinic work. In her spare time she enjoys
reading poetry, all animals, butterflies, rainbows, music and Earthly things
including Astrology. "An all around fun person".
Dee Goss: Dee has been with VAS
since October 2004, but she is a returning
team member from several years ago. Dee has been involved in veterinary
practices for five years. Her favorite time is relaxing on the farm with
all her animals and Husband.
Jennifer Farley: Jennifer has been a Vet Tech for 6 years and with VAS since
March of 2005. She also teaches
and competes in Dog Agility contests. Jennifer has two cats and one champion
Agility Dog, a two year old son and a husband. Her favorite activities
include the beach, boating, dog agility training, and playing with her son.
Vanessa Martin: Vanessa joined our team in January of 2005. She has have
been a "Vet Tech" for 10 months, and is in her first year of college studying to
be an LPN. Vanessa has 1 cat named Anna, and she says she "spoils her rotten!"
Groomer
Lisa Pate : Lisa says; "I have a Chow and 11 cats, and 4 birds. One could
safely say I love the critters. Oh, and 2 children. I have groomed for
approximately 20 years. I stated with my own Poodle then went to Chows. We had
16 of them. I love grooming and working with all breeds of animals. I
groom dogs and cats. Some groomers use sedation when grooming, I prefer not to.
I like to try and talk them through it and usually do. Remember, large or
small I groom them all!"
